KADE'DRA RASHAWN WASHINGTON INITIATIVE:
Please join our quest to make the communities safer by stopping illegal gun activity! Too many lives are destroyed due to illegal gun activity. Many of the victims are innocent children. This program aims to encourage youth and adults to indulge in activities, lifestyles and to make decisions that will allow them to live, work, play and manage life challenges without the need for unlawful gun activity. We are currently in the process of accepting donations to provide programs to participants, that aim to deter them from unlawful gun activities and other negativities, while emphasizing activities such as performing arts
(dancing, singing, acting, spoken word poetry, instrumental music, modeling and more), double-dutch jump rope, fishing, flag football fundamentals, decision making and other positive activities. We would like to continue providing these programs free of charge, to the participants. Donations are tax deductible! Volunteers welcome, to assist with distribution of information or assist with other duties. See below for contact information. A description of some of our programs include:

THIS YEAR ROUND PROGRAM IS AIMED AT ALLOWING YOUTH TO INDULGE IN POSITIVE ACTIVITIES AND TO LEARN LIFE SKILLS, WHILE ALSO HAVING FUN AND UTILIZING SELF EXPRESSION, THROUGH ENRICHMENT & PERFORMING ARTS!!!
DIAMONDS & PLATINUM Int'l LEADERSHIP ACADEMY:
OUR DIAMONDS & PLATINUM INT'L LEADERSHIP ACADEMY, ENCOURAGES ACTIVITIES AND SKILLS SUCH AS ACADEMIC SUCCESS, LIFE SKILLS, NATURAL HAIR BRAIDING, SEWING, FINE ARTS, ADDITIONAL PERFORMING ARTS (ACTING, SINGING, MODELING, SPOKEN WORD POETRY, ETC.), AND MORE. VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED AND WELCOMED!!! DIAMONDS & PLATINUM INT'L LEADERSHIP ACADEMY IS OFFERED AT VARIOUS TIMES THROUGHOUT EACH YEAR AND INCORPORATES A VARIETY OF SKILLS AND INFORMATION.
HOWEVER, THE ENRICHMENT PERFORMING ARTS PROGRAM IS YEAR ROUND! ALSO, SEEKING VOLUNTEER CHOREOGRAPHERS/ INSTRUCTORS, ETC.!!! PARTICIPANTS MUST BE AGES (approximately) 5-17. CHOREOGRAPHERS/INSTRUCTORS, ETC. MUST BE ABLE AND WILLING TO PUT TOGETHER AND/OR TEACH YOUR CHOICE OF APPLICABLE SKILLS/TECHNIQUES (SEWING, ACTING, VOICE, ETC.)/DANCE ROUTINES (stepping, hip-hop, street and/or praise dancing) AND BE CAPABLE OF WORKING WITH YOUTH. ALL MUST BE AVAILABE ON WEEKENDS AND POSSIBLY SOME WEEKDAYS AND HAVE A POSITIVE ATTITUDE. THIS PROGRAM WAS CO-FOUNDED BY THE LATE KADE'DRA RASHAWN WASHINGTON AND IS PART OF THE KADE'DRA RASHAWN WASHINGTON INITIATIVE. (O.N.Y.X. is an acronym for Opportunities uNlimited for Young men to eXcel!)
*PEARLS, HEELS & HOODIES
"Empowering Women for Success": A PROGRAM DESIGNED TO EMPOWER AND ENCOURAGE WOMEN TO OVERCOME CHALLENGES AND ACHIEVE POSITIVE GOALS, IS SEEKING PARTICIPANTS. THIS PROGRAM IS FOR WOMEN AGES (approximately) 18-30. Members are encouraged to attend and participate in empowerment sessions, as well as events.
IMAGE CONSULTING/COACHING (Dressing for Employment Success): This program strives to promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women and men, by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help them to thrive in positive aspects of their life, such as work, family, and social engagements. These services are for the enhancement of professional and/or personal images.
This program aims to boost confidence and more, by enhancing image. These services have been used to encourage development, promote self esteem, obtain beneficial information and products for professional and personal endeavors and more. Services include, but are not limited to coaching for dressing, makeup, color schemes, jewelry, poise, communication skills, outer appearance and more. We encourage donations of items such as business attire and accessories for this program.

**Please also inquire about the IDEAS EMERGE Inc. Booster Club, as a means of showing support and assisting with the above activities. Booster Club membership is available to children, women, men, organizations, etc. Booster club members receive a certificate, opportunities to provide hands-on assistance, opportunities to purchase booster club merchandise and 10% off of various boutique items.
